Adventurous is an adjective that fully describes our hiking tour of the mountain that rises above Boka Bay. Orjen is the highest mountain in the coastal part of the Dinaric massif and is known for several interesting facts. First, it is a waterless mountain, although it is where Crkvice is located, the rainiest place in Europe. Second, it spreads over three countries – most of Orjen belongs to Montenegro, fewer parts to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and peripheral to Croatia. Third, the roads built at the beginning of the 20th century are still in use today, and the first purpose-built hiking trail in Montenegro is located on this mountain.
